美丽一次

在非洲的戈壁滩上， 有一种叫依米的小花，花呈四瓣，每瓣自成一色：红、白、黄、蓝。通常，它要花费五年的时间来完成根茎的穿插工作，然后，一点点地积蓄养分，在第六年春，才在地面吐绿绽翠，开出一朵小小的四色鲜花，尤其让人们惋叹的是，这种极难长成的依米小花，花期并不长，仅仅两天工夫，它便随母株一起香消玉殒。

依米花的生长和蝉的生命历程有着惊人的相似。它们只是大自然万千家族中极为弱小的一员，可是它们却以其独特的生命方式向世人昭示：生命一次，美丽一次。

一次， 便足矣！

一次的青春，一次的成功，一次的勇往直前，一次的轰轰烈烈，一次的无悔人生......

仅仅一次，却需要长时间坚忍不拔的进取和历尽艰辛的跋涉，它甚至需要耗尽一个一世的光阴、毕生的精力！

人生的路途比依米花的一生漫长，可是，在这段漫漫求索的艰辛历程中，我们并非一定会比依米花做的更好。

To Be Beautiful Once

On the African Gobi desert, there is a kind of flower called Yi Mi, each valve of which has its own color: red, white, yellow and blue. Ususlly, it costs its rhizome five years to complete the work of penetrating into the sands, and then the flower will accumulate nutrition little by little until it splits on the ground in emerald green with a small flower blossoming in four colors in the sixth year. People feel especially sorry that this small luckily-survived Yi Mi flower does not have a long time of flowering, because it perishes with the mother plant shortly after two days. 　Yi Mi’s journey of life has an amazing resemblance to the lifespan of the cicada. They are just two extremely small and weak members of myriads of clans of nature but in their unique way of life, they have proved to the public: to be living once, to be beautiful once. 　Once, is enough! 　To be young once, to be successful once, to march forward bravely once, to be vigorous once and to live a non-remorseful life once… 　Although only once, it needs a long period of continuous improvement and hard trudging through thick and thin, and it will even use up one’s whole life and energy. 　Our lifetime is longer than Yi Mi’s, however, in this long hard process of seeking knowledge, not all of us can do better than the flower of Yi Mi.
